John’s meteorological career has taken him from Iceland to the Middle East, from Germany to the tropical South Atlantic, as well as numerous weather offices in Britain, providing services to both members of the public and aviation.
Originally from Lancashire he now resides in Yorkshire, although he maintains strong ties with the north east of England where he spent several years at a weather centre. John’s hobbies are also diverse, including planes, trains and good food!
