As
a meteorologist for 35 years, Jim has
worked in a wide range of forecasting
tasks from aviation to marine and the
media. Since 1978 he has been one of
the public faces of meteorology, appearing
on national and regional TV. Jim is
now Managing Director of WeatherQuest
Ltd and splits his time between forecasting,
broadcasting and running the company.
In the few remaining minutes of the
day he can be found learning to play
guitar or trying to grow organic vegetables.
